I have written about Ramp Camp in the past. This, I think my 8th year, went very well considering we had 90+ temperatures four days that week. It was grueling, but the kids were great and the family was thrilled. We got pretty good coverage in a local paper as well. Yachad, the organization that runs the camp and on whose board I sit, does a great job of engaging volunteers, making community connections and helping the built environment serve us better.

I am glad I did it, glad to work with these great kids, but also very glad it is done.
